Atlantic Starr started in 1976 in White Plains, New York by three brothers: David, Wayne and Jonathan Lewis who were the lead singer/guitarist, lead singer/keyboardist and trombonist/percussionist respectively. The brothers then hired lead singer Sharon Bryant, trumpeter William Sudderth, saxophonist Damon Rentie, bassist Clifford Archer, drummer Porter Carroll, Jr. and percussionist/flutist Joseph Phillips to complete the group's original nine-person line...
